ARABIA, Southern. Himyar. Dhamar'alī Yuhabirr, circa 135-175 AD. Fraction (Silver, 9 mm, 0.37 g, 11 h). Male head with curly hair to right. Rev. 𐩺𐩠𐩨𐩧 ('yhbr' in South Arabian) Bearded male head to right; around, [𐩧-𐩺-𐩵-𐩬] (?) ('rydn' in South Arabian). Huth 401-403. Munro-Hay 3.14iii and 3.21iii. Very rare. A beautifully toned piece struck on an unusually broad flan. Good very fine.

This may be an unpublished variety, as despite the large flan, no traces of the 'rydn' legend are visible on the reverse
